HARU NO MIDORI

I like the look and touch of celadon, an iron glaze that is so typical for many traditional East Asian ceramics. In old times the celadon colors were produced in a reducing kiln. Alas, no chance with my modern electric kiln. But yes, there are recipes for glazes that look almost like the real thing. Like this one. I added a light green glaze for some interesting running effect. Hence the name of the vase – spring green.
